New Year, new video
Hi friends!
Happy New Year!
I’ve been thinking of this time of year and what it means to different people. Sometimes the New Year is a celebration of what has taken place and sometimes folks are reflecting on what has been a hard year. Maybe they’re looking forward to seeing the year end, hopeful that turning over the calendar page to January 1st will bring fresh, new opportunities for happiness.
My new song Free (I Remember) is about an ending that was needed. Today, with this year ending, seemed like as good a time as any to send this new video out into the world. Click below to check it out!

I worked with some super talented folks on this video. Please check it out and let me know what you think! Feel free to share it with your friends!
I really love this time of year, where we can spend time reflecting on years past, and making plans for the coming year. I like to make a list of goals in a bunch of different categories to help me see what I’d like to accomplish over the next year. Some goals will be more specific and measurable, and some will just be general reminders. I take time to review goals I’ve made in earlier years, and see how far I’ve come. Some things stay on the To Do list for several years, before getting checked off.
This year has been rather exciting with the release of my first single in a super long time. (✓ Check!) I’ve been performing more than I have in the last while, and it’s been really lovely getting to share my music with you all. I’ve really missed this part of making music.
Next year promises to be pretty exciting, too, with the release of my newest album coming up. (This one has been on my list every year for a long time and this is the year, friends!) I am so excited to share it all with you. I’m so pleased with how it has turned out! I will share news soon about the release.
I’ve had some lovely successes with radio this year for my new single. Some of you might have heard that my song is on the long list for the East Coast Countdown that features the top 10 songs on the East Coast each week. Voting is super easy, and I would really love some support for that, if you have a few moments to click: http://eastcoastcountdown.com (I might just put getting into the top 10 on my list of goals for 2020.)
Thank you for your support over the past year! Take care of yourselves, gang. I hope you all have the best year yet in 2020!
