New album!

It's here! My new album, Subtle Motions, is released! I can barely contain myself. 🎆⁣

Y’all have been so wonderful in supporting the wee songs I’ve released ahead of the album, and now I get the pleasure of sharing the rest of it. Thank you for listening and for sharing my music. Thank you, also, to everyone who’s worked on this album! It was an absolute pleasure to make. So much love.💘⁣

Nathan Wiley is the talented producer of this album, and he played a zillion parts, on at least a million instruments. Nathan also gets credit for being a fantastic creative enabler. (And! He even let me put one of his songs I’ve always adored on there! Go listen to Long Way to the Door, and tell me it’s not the loveliest song you’ve ever heard.) ⁣

Greg Mountain helped with the recording, and provided support, incuding wise council. Dale Murray mixed this puppy deliciously. (You can quote me on that, Dale.) J. LaPointe sprinkled his magically-sonic mastering-pixie-dust on it, as a finishing touch. ⁣
⁣
Dale DesRoches, Calvin Bakelaar Catherine MacLellan, Drea MacDonald, Kinley Dowling, and Steve Guy played on the album, Mark Geddes, and Calvin did some engineering. Universal Music Publishing Group, and the folks from the band Jale allowed me to include their song River. Ryan Hutchinson (graphic designer extraordinaire), and Ash Nayler (my fave photog) made the album look like a real thing. Sarah Jamer at The Syrup Factory, Brendan Magee, and Mae at CMRRA helped on the business end. Innovation PEI provided some funds for the recording, through the PEI Cultural Action Plan. FACTOR Canada and Music PEI have been super supportive, as well.⁣
